Agreement

By using Reckon, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The Service

Reckon is a deal management tool for software agencies. It provides structured scoping, deterministic pricing, and proposal generation.

What Reckon Is Not

• Reckon is not financial advice. Pricing recommendations are based on your inputs and published methodology.
• Reckon does not guarantee contract outcomes.
• AI-generated suggestions are candidates validated by deterministic rules, not assertions of fact.

Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of client statements you enter
• You are responsible for reviewing all proposals before sending them to clients
• You must not use Reckon to generate misleading or fraudulent proposals

Billing

• Free tier: deterministic calculator only, no account required
• Paid tiers: billed monthly via Stripe
• Overage charges are disclosed before incurring them
• No plan includes unlimited usage

Data Ownership

• You own your deal data
• You grant Reckon a license to process your data to provide the service
• Reckon does not sell your data

Limitation of Liability

Reckon is provided "as is." We are not liable for business decisions made based on Reckon's output. Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding a claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email 30 days in advance.
